About the Press

Established in 2015, Mignon Press is a small independent Australian press founded in the Blue Mountains of NSW and now based in Melbourne, Victoria.

We launched with our first poetry collection in December 2015, and have since grown a carefully kept list of poetry, bilingual editions and books of wisdom — each title published with the attention only a small press can give.

Our books travel further than we do: all titles are distributed internationally in print and digital formats, through Amazon's eight global markets, Dymocks, Booktopia, Fishpond, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Kobo and Smashwords.

Dianne Cikusa is an Australian writer and poet whose work moves between the real and the surreal, the conscious and the depths beneath it.

She graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1994, and returned to complete a Graduate Diploma in Arts there in 2010. A strong interest in foreign languages led her to the University of Sydney, where she obtained a Diploma of Language Studies in French in 2014 — an influence visible throughout her bilingual work.

Dianne's poetry has been published in Australian and international online journals, poetry zines, print anthologies and literary magazines. One of her short poems appeared as digital media in the Melbourne 2010 Overload Poetry Festival.
